Ethics Programs

The Ethical Practices Institute

has your solution for ethics programs

and ethics training.

This program is designed to help you encourage ethical conduct and to establish an “Effective Compliance and Ethics Program” as described in Federal Regulation §8B2.1 effective November 1, 2004. We encourage ethical conduct for the simple reason that when you do what’s right—good things happen and everybody wins

DOES MY ORGANIZATION NEED AN EFFECTIVE COMPLIANCE AND ETHICS PROGRAM?

Yes! The Federal Regulations apply to every organization with more than one person.

WHAT WILL AN “EFFECTIVE COMPLIANCE AND ETHICS PROGRAM” DO?

  • Help you exercise due diligence to prevent and detect criminal conduct
  • Promote an organizational culture that encourages ethical conduct
  • Promote a commitment to comply with the law
  • Strengthen Employee confidence
  • Build Customer confidence
  • Reduce risks
  • Reduced insurance claims
  • Mitigate lawsuits
  • Improve profits

WHO WILL THE PROGRAM APPLY TO?

  • Every single person in your organization— from the top to the bottom.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS, HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • This is a deliberate program that gets people to recognize their company policies, federal, state and local laws and focus on doing what’s right.
  • The program is deployed through your own management teams and supervisors (called Team Leaders).
  • The program requires team meetings (individual or group) every other week.
  • Each meeting takes approximately 10 minutes.
  • Team Leaders will receive all the information and tools they need to deploy the program with their team—typically via email.
  • The program also provides a mechanism for employees to report potential or actual misconduct anonymously and without fear of reprisal through the Institute’s Action Line.
